Saturday
Saturday was a little bit crazier for me but I'll start from the top. Woke up early because I had to head over to San Jose for my cousin's graduation. When I got to the graduation I saw Matt so I sat with them while my family sat in the other row. As the graduation went on Pat, Marien, Jino, Subi, Shanna had come through and Jason's parents drove him down to SJ for the graduation so that was a good thing for him to be able to be there for my cousin. After the graduation everyone headed to some restaraunt in the Santa Clara called 'China Stix" and the place was alright. After eating Jason, Subi, and I went down to Subi's house to chill for a bit. We had a little mini-session going on. Haha. After chillin I wanted to go see this girl that I've had this little crush on for a while. Haha. We went down to her house to chill for a quick minute and it was cool. After seeing her went headed out to my cousin's apartment in downtown SJ to chill and watch the game which the LAKERS WON! Haha whoo! I was pretty tired coming into the day so I took a quick nap. Once I woke up it was time to get ready to head to the party. Once we got there I drank some 'Jungle Juice' which had Everclear in it but I didnt pay it no mind and kept drinking haha. Took some shots and Ryan and Bryan came through so we took a shot when the get there! Haha, I had Cleo make Jason, Lauren, Subi, and I a "silverback." Lol, I knew it was gonna fuck me up but I didnt care haha. Well I yacked and I dont really remember much after that but when I woke up it was time to leave. Jason was sleeping on the couch and on his yack haha. Kyla had yacked to and I slept in it which was a bad idead but at the time I didnt give a fuuuuck haha. Once we woke Jason up he yacked again outside and yacked once more at the apartment haha, but after that it was time to KO..and I took a nap earlier, but I'm still pretty tired..so I guess that's all for now. I'll talk to you guys later.

So today I was on YouTube just watching old TV shows and one show that I havent seen in a long time was, "The Wonder Years." One of the episodes I was was the finale. There was a quote at the end of the episode that got me thinking.

"Growing up happens in a heartbeat. One day you're in diapers, the next day you're gone. But the memories of childhood stay with you for the long haul. I remember a place, a town, a house, like alot of houses. A yard like a lot of other yards. On a street like a lot of other streets. And the thing is, after all these years, I still look back...with wonder."

I know I have more years coming up and plenty of times where I could go and look back on those years. But right now, the things I already have and have a chance too look back on always make me smile. All those things happen for a reason and play a big role in where my life is headed. And I could say that if everything was gone tomorrow that its been a great ride.

So with many more good times to come..dont forget to take time out of your life to look back and wonder.

Club Ish

So today I got a call from Carlyne asking if I was still going to watch Alan's Project perform. I wasnt sure because I was gonna go with Jason but he had practice. The reason she was asking was because she was feeling really sick and she needed someone to fill in. So I filled in and the show turned out pretty good even though I messed up but I mean who in the crowd could really tell. But anyways.

I headed over to westlake to meet up with Chris and Cleo because we were going to ride to the venue (Slim's in SF) together and Chris was gonna fill me on a few of the formations and transitions and what not. So I got there and Chris was just telling me a few changes from the original set so I was trying to take in as much as possible. Cleo showed up and away we were to the club. When we got there Alan and Jewel met up with us and we headed in the club. The stage was so small that Chris, Alan, Cleo, Shanna, Jino, Matt and I couldnt even fit. But we made the best with what we had. Once we got on stage ready to perform the DJ didnt have our mix so we had to go grab it from the other DJ that was on the other side of the venue. While Matt went to go grab the CD we were on the stage just setting up and the crowd was hella up in our face so that was pretty tight. I messed up but it was all good. It was a good experience having a crowd who has never seen any of us dance before give us props for what we were doing. But the crowd was really "white washed" so every move we through out there they were screaming but that was tight too! Haha. But before we went on there was this girl rapper/singer who somewhat reminded me of Lily Allen and M.I.A put together. She was cute and she was pretty dope, but her back up dancers or posers were kinda ruing the show for her. Haha. The rest of the night consisted of just listening to a band called "Dizzy Balloon." They were actually pretty good. They kinda reminded me of a Maroon 5 type of band especially because the lead singer sounded like the lead singer of Maroon 5. Haha. The Main Event of the night was a group called "The Cataracs." They were really dope, somewhat like Gym Class Heroes. They had the girls on the stage with them and the whole stage was filled haha. It was tight, anyways..after the place closing up Chris and I headed back to the studio because my car was still there and since theCOMPANY was just ending practice we decided to head inside for a while. When we got there Jino, Ryan, Dez, Artressa, Shaun, Pat, Drew, Aggie, Bryan, Juls, Mallari, Gina, and Lisel was still there so we chilled for a few. Jino brought some beers so I drank ONE haha. But once everyone started packing up I decided to head out too. So here I am now..blogging and chillin at home. So I'll leave you with some candy for your eyes.

I'm in San Jose and I am hella bored. Haha I just saw the commercial for the movie "Angels&Demons," apparently it's suppose to be a sequel to "The Da Vinci Code" it looks really interesting. Peep the trailer if you're into these type of movies.

Man, what a weekend.

Friday
My cousin and I met up with Pat, Marien, Mike, Ria, Juls, Dez, Mel, and Liezl. We all took the same flight down to Ontario to catch a shuttle to Pomona. The flight there was too bad except all the turbulence towards the end of the flight. I didnt get much sleep that night but I was too excited for the competition to even sleep on the plane. When we got to the hotel we were all pretty hungry and tired. So, Mike, Ria, Dez, Juls, Liezl, Mel, and I took a walk down to Del Taco which was like 15 minutes walking. We were hella tired and sweaty and we didnt even dance yet, haha. After eating that, we all felt like shit. Haha. We had practice at 7 so we headed down to the lobby and met up with Pat. Practice was pretty good, we all felt ready for the long day that was awaiting us. Got back to the room and chilled for a bit. Michelle brought a game 'Apples 2 Apples' which all the 510 girls cheated hahaha. But after the game the 510 decided to go and get some milkshakes so me and Jack were just chillin. I saw Lisel in the hallway so we just talked about the competiton and what we thought about certain things. After that it was time to KO so thats the end of that Friday.

Saturday
Everyone woke up hella early because I guess we were all just hella excited for the day. Everyone was pretty much ready by 11 and we had to meet at 1 so we were up way too early. Haha, around 12 everyone came to my room and we were just playing 'Apples 2 Apples' again. It was a real good time passer. Around 1:15 we headed to the venue which was like 2 minutes away. We all signed in and Pat gave us maybe 20 minutes to just chill and get ready and everything. Our call time was like 540 so we went over things with Pat and zoned up. My head was pounding because of the heat but I tried to ignore it. We got to back to the venue maybe 4 groups before us and we were to just sit and listen to the mix and get into performance mode. We went to the back end of the building and boomed and it was fuckin intense. Haha. Once we got on stage we just left it all out on that stage because we were retiring that performance in the competition scene and we did what we set out to do....we won first! We all got our own frame with the "First Place World of Dance 2009 Youth Division" in it. So we all chilled and shopped so we could pass the time waiting for theCompany to go on. To be honest theCompany put it down fierce on that stage and it was complete bullshit that they didnt place, but then again Pat was proud that they worked hard and he knew what they did so he wasnt even down about it. It was a party night and I dont remember much haha so that all for Saturday.

Sunday
My cousin and I missed our flight haha but its cool because we got to fly back home with Ria, Dez, Mel, Liezl, Juls and Mike so it was all good.

It was a good weekend and I would trade it for anything. APT 2-0 this season. What's next? Who knows..

Friday:
Alright, so I'm just gonna give a little update on this past weekend. It was pretty crazy. On Friday at around 3 I headed over to Carlyne's work because we had to put together a quick set for this fundraiser. It was pretty crazy because we only had one day to do it. So we just put together a bunch of pieces that Pat gave to other groups so we said that it was "Pat's Project." Haha. We used a couple of APT pieces (So Fly and How It Was Supposed To Be), a Company piece (Disturbia), a ADV piece (Nobody), and a new piece that Pat came up with (Blame It). I didnt eat much that day or I didnt even really eat so by the end of the day my head was hurting so bad so once I got home..I knocked out! Haha.

Saturday:
On Saturday we headed over to the venue at around 7 something. We were all pretty ready to just get done with it so we could get back to the studio and drink haha. Subi's project went up first and since not all of them were there Pat took over Ryan's spot during the Big Bang song. It was hella funny. Chris' project was after and then it was Pat's project. I messed up hella bad haha but its cool. So after Carlyne, Stacey, and Matthew went over to Tapioca Express and we just grabbed some drinks. After that we went back to the studio and they already started drinking. So we just joined in haha. I was pretty drunk after I dont know how many beers haha. But after that I just went home and knocked out lol.

Sunday:
I had practice on Sunday and we just showed the rest of choreo. After we tried to block for 'World of Dance' but not everyone was there so we had a few problems but knowing us we're gonna pull through. After practice I went home and chilled for a bit. I watched a movie on youtube that I've been trying to watch for the longest.."The Warriors." But half way through the movie Scott hit me up and asked if I wanted to go to a party so I mean hey..I'm not gonna pass up a good time haha. We supplied the drinks and man from what I remember...I was fucked up haha. For the first time EVER..I yacked on the stairs of my friend Jordan's house. Shit was crazy. Haha. Scott dropped me off at home and I had to sneak into my house so my mom couldnt smell the alchohol on me haha. Got in my bed and just knocked out again! Haha fuck..

Today:
I got a new tatt!! Fsho, I'll post pictures of it later. But I'm trying to let the pain go away haha.

The Best Show In The Bay

On the first night APT opened the show and once again, we did what we do. Alan's project turned out really good in my opinion. It was a great experience for me learning from Alan. This year CADC, Super Galactic Beat Manipulators, Sheroes, Press P.L.A.Y and other groups came by to throw down with us. Big thanks to them. Dmoe's project was so dope that I was honestly speechless after. I liked Shaun's project too. But of course Shaun always has something great to put out. GenTwo as usual, was hella good. Their set was really fun to watch, they even got the audience involved. Also, like I expected...TheCompany ripped it! They just went at it like it was their last performance ever. They left it all out on the stage.
*Also, my boy Jason just straight up killed everything he was in. He truly is a inspiration. Thats my bestfriend man, look out for him..he's gonna blow up.

Sunday show was okay, not really much to say about it other than APT finally got to show our second set. GenTwo killed it once again, Alan & Jewel's baby Kylie got to be on stage with them. She's so cute. TheCompany did it once again, tore up the muhfuckin stage. No joke.

Well, I'm just gonna cut it. Ya'll should have went to Urban Paradise. TheCAMP put it down something fierce this weekend. Anyways, later procrastinators.

So, I'm back. I don't this blog to go to waste. So just a recap on the past couple of days.

Thursday
I had practice on Thursday and I decided to sit in on Company practice so I could watch peoples choreo. I liked my cousin's choreo, I thought it was good. Jason showed his piece that he's been teaching APT and Dez, Michelle, and I went up to do it with him but he had to do his solo after. Everyone really liked it.

Friday
I had class at 11 and I was so lazy to get up but since I didnt go one Wednesday..I had to. It was hella chill though so that was good. I sat next to Sharene and all we did was talk about dance since the teacher was hella off track so it was whatever lol. The weather was so ugly, I was thinking to myself while watching the rain.."where did the fuckin' nice weather go?!" My cousin picked me up and we headed over to Office Depot because my cousin had to go grab some school shit. After we went to go eat at Denny's near Serramonte. I was pretty damn full after. When we got back to my house I was hella tired, so I slept til like 6:30. I watched the Warriors game for a while since Monta is back!!! Haha. Me and my cousin went go grab some Eggets before we headed over for practice. After practice Chris, Jason, Stacey, Carlyne, Mallari, Matthew, Cleo, Michelle, Juls, Shanna, Jino, and I went to BJ's to grab some food. We chilled there for a while. Now, I'm home just chillin and listening to music. So I'm gonna cut it right here and just for your enjoyment..check the pictures down there.

Well today was a pretty chill day. I missed my alarm this morning so I missed my Astronomy class. It's cool though. I woke up around 230 and took a shower because Jason was about to head over to the house so we could get that haircut that we've been waiting for.

We went to our barbers house Josh (aka Josh El Barber.) When we got to the house I saw my friend's Sean and Dean. My friend Dean had his long ass hair again just like he did during our time at Westmoor. He was about to cut it and we were all like "wth!" Haha.

A man is getting into the shower just as his wife is finishing up her shower, when the doorbell rings.
The wife quickly wraps herself in a towel and runs downstairs.
When she opens the door, there stands Bob, the next-door neighbour.
Before she says a word, Bob says, 'I'll give you $800 to drop that towel.'
After thinking for a moment, the woman drops her towel and stands naked in front of Bob, after a few seconds, Bob hands her $800 and leaves.
The woman wraps back up in the towel and goes back upstairs.

Moral of the story:

Finally after a fourth night, the turkey was proudly perched at the top of the tree.
He was promptly spotted by a farmer, who shot him out of the tree.

Moral of the story:
Bull %*#$ might get you to the top, but it won't keep you there.

Lesson 6

A little bird was flying south for the winter. It was so cold the bird froze and fell to the ground into a large field.
While he was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on him.
As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, he began to realize how warm he was.
The dung was actually thawing him out!
He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy.
A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate.
Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out and ate him.

Morals of the story:
(1) Not everyone who +$!!! on you is your enemy.
(2) Not everyone who gets you out of %*#$ is your friend.
(3) And when you're in deep %*#$, it's best to keep your mouth shut!
